Looking for Apple Snails NJ

No, they do not like brackish water. What type of apple snail are you looking for? There are hundreds of species.

I'm looking for the ones that grow pretty large, and if there are alot of apple snails that grow pretty large...then any one of them will do. I just need a half dozen or dozen of them. By large i mean anywhere from 2" - 6" i would want that to be the adult size, i want them as babies though. Do you have any?

I don't sell my plant-eating giant species. You are looking for pomacea canaliculata or pomacea haustrum. They are illegal to sell over state lines so need to be found in state or at a store in your area.

2 inches...That would be Pomacea diffusa. These are legal and don't require permits anymore to be shipped but refrain from having egg clutches shipped as I believe these are still banned. The largest apple snail recorded to be found in the trade is Pomacea insularum at 4 inches. These are reported to be very aggressive and can leave bite marks per Donya Quick's experience. For more information, search www.applesnail.net.
