Looking for Cat ideas.

Hey guy's, I'm looking for ideas on getting a cat that could work with a pair of agressive breeding amphilophus cichlids. The only thing I want this cat to "clean" is some caviar, nightime ninja style. I can definately provide one of these guys a nice driftwood/rock cave to set up house in (size permiting) and I need him to not get RTC mega huge pref less than 20" max length. Please let me know any ideas or suggestions you may have! thanks.

Raphael cats are common, but they have those armour plates to protect them from angry cichlids so 2 would probably work well..

How about a couple of Plecos? I've kept at least one in all of my tanks.
