Looking for creepy tank mate for my brackish eel

I'm starting to think that it would be a good Idea to start over with the gymnothorax tile Brackish eel I have. He eats a lot of my fish. When I first got him he was happy with raw shrimp (thawed) but now he eats things I never thought he would. Any ideas for a tank mate for him that's creepy looking and fun? think 50 gal.

large grunting toadfish or freshwater lion fish

That would be really cool but just remember--the lion could suck the eel up like spaghetti.
