Looking for detroit LFS

Hey. I might be headed up to detroit this weekend if the weather allows. I would like to know if there are any good LFS to stop by that isn't to far away from the casinos. I am looking to buy 8"+ jardini aros. Or any other interesting fish. I.E. Lungs, BIG silver aros 24"+, albio niger cat (yeah right), Large wolf fish, or just anything odd. Maybe even some big poly.

Please let me know if your in that area and know of anyplace that may have something like what I'm looking for. If you know of one can you PM me or post here what they might have and the name of the store so I can get the number and call for pirces.

The place is a dark dingy humid smelly dump but they might. It's in Garden city. I can't think of anything thats going to be near downtown.

I like fantastic fins in Livonia but it's hit or miss on the big stuff.

Stingray Bay, there's also a place on 11 mile and Vandyke, which is where I got my common wolf fish. There's a few other places but I cant think of them off the top of my head right now. Let me know where you end up going and what they have though. Those could be some good finds.
 
I have yet to check the weather forcast but If I was going today. I would not be going anywhere the drive home from work toom me over an hour and usually take only 35 min. So once I check with weather channel.com I will have a better idea where I'm heading or if at all.
 
some guy on craigslist is selling a big lung fish for $50 around Detroit. PM me if you want me to find you the link. Try fantastic fins in Livonia, or cichlid world in garden city. Best 2 LFS's in the area.

Nice thanks guys. Now I have to call around. but what's the roads like up there? If i make the drive that way is it going to SUCK or is your roads ok for how cold and snowy it's been?

the roads are good for now but who knows how long that with last. Last nigh it was -8* outside and no, that's not with wind chill LOL.
