I got one, but I am pretty sure its a male. Not positive but from the research I have done I beleive him to be a male. Here is a quick pic.

does it have spines on it's pectoral fin? if it does it's a male.

yeah it has a bunch of little spines on the big spiney part of the fin. He is a great fish, pretty aggressive for a pleco, seems to always looking for a fight.

i've seen 11 year olds with cell phones and a silver chain with a medallion hanging around their neck. so i'm not surprise.

i'd actually buy a couple of chilli red aros if i had 6g's to spend.

cool pleco though how much do they cost if they were 1"-3"?
