Hello everyone, I am in search large quantities of Java Moss, Christmas Moss, Star Moss.... Looking to fill 7 tanks totaling about 400gals.... I am having a hard time getting these items, Free would be cool, but am willing to pay for it if the price is right, I can pick up if close, If not would be willing to pay for shipping.... Thanks everyone....

I would be willing to take other kinds of moss, even moss balls....

That's a pretty large quantity. I'm not sure if anyone would have that much to sell you. Lol. You might want to try growing it from the moss from small patches. Generally they propagate quickly.

And for everyone's reference, possibly not you 101M, Moss balls are actually algae. They are just called moss.

Anyways, bump for you.

ya i know that about moss balls, they just look cool, have a few in my 125gal show tank, and from everything i have tried, moss takes forever to grow, at least for me.... I was hoping to find someone that had excess.... I will take any i can get.... but i have 7 tanks that i am redoing, with mainly sand and moss....

My friend was successful at growing Java Moss by keep the water cool meaning room temperature with natural sun light. He tried different methods including warm water and artificial lighting. You have to try to find a way to grow them successfully before it will work in a big tank. If you can't grow them right now, how will they grow for you in a big tank. They will only die off eventually. It is just like breeding fishes. You have to understand what make that living thing do what it suppose to do. Good Luck!
