OH...IO
I'd like to add 1 more monster to my tank. If money is not a concern what should I get? My requirements are:
1. adult size should ideally be ~1.5' - 2.5'
2. personality! (can't just lay there)
3. can not be overly aggressive, in fact I prefer no aggression
4. must eagerly take prepared food such as pellets
5. the fish has to be readily available on-line or carried at LFS
This fish will be going in my 750g with the current stock staying minus a few of the aggressive cichlids.

Thanks

a giant gourami would be a good addition. i love mine. they arent aggressive and eat any thing. they grow around 27" max.

black arowana, It would take a long time to reach 30" and arent super agressive. Eventually they will get bigger though.
Chinese Perch (TFD had some)
maybe a tig....or a RAY!!

That tank would be perfect for a ray.

Nice choice. I used to have a RTGG that I loved but aggression can be a problem. This is one fish I'm considering. Thanks

I was considering a silver aro but am concerned about dropeye. A black would be nice but I'm having trouble finding one. Chinese perch hummmmmm....... do you have any picts? and do they eat pellets? I don't have much interst in tigs and my substrate isn't the best for a ray (natural rock). The black aro and CP are both good thoughts.

here is mine, he is a beast (and I love showing him off)
I'm not sure about pellets but mine devours shrimp and beefheart. He also never shows any agression whatsoever....completely passive.

He looks like a stud for sure. They get a bit bigger than my size requirements though don't they?
