OK guys and gals i know we have posted about it before but we have the cube up and going its 30"x18"x24" and skimmer and 4x65w pc on the way now so i guess the question is what now what corals do you guys suggest? let us know we are open to all sugestions maybe you can post some pics of your tanks just keep in mind only a 56 so no large fish.

Do you know if your tank is roughly 200L?? if thats all it is and as your globes are a good spectrum and your waters good you should probably be able to keep most of the soft corals like xenia, correlimorphs, zooanthids and leathers and you might be able to get away with some of the easier hard corals like favia just stay away from the harder ones like acropora.

What are you going for....? A saltwater set up?

Yes a saltwater setup is what we are doing, small reef setup

Also what kinds of chemicals do we need to begin adding to get ready for corals and live rocks?

Nothing just a proper salt mix and water. Put the rock in then put the gravel in and turn everything on. Then the boring wait while it cycles. Its still interesting watching all the changes though.
If your past that already then test the water make sure its finished cycling check your PH and check your calcium and if they are good you can start putting corals in.

it has had 4 damsels in it for about 2 weeks now plus 3 mexican turbo snails for about a week. Specific Gravity is at 1.022. i have heard you need to add some calcium and other things for the coral, also we are looking at getting some hermit crabs, feather-dusters, and so other crusteaceans what would you all suggest?

Once you have a few you should start adding some of the mineral supplements for corals but i wouldnt worry about it till you have a couple in there. Some brands have all in one containers you can by and you just add some once a week. While soft corals do use minerals still its more the hard corals that need constant additions as they use alot of minerals to build there skeletons.
