Are you looking for a single wet pet or multiple fish?I have a 75 gallon aquarium with 900 gph filtration. I need stocking ideas. I want something large but I realize only being a. 75 gallon I'm limited. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks in advance
either or, I'm just looking for ideas. Thanks for respondingAre you looking for a single wet pet or multiple fish?
There’s a lot you can do with a 75. You can do a kickass mbuna or Hap tank, a wet pet like a puffer or larger SA cichlid, a planted tank with small schooling fish, there’s a lot you can do. You can even do a FOWLR or a reef. Any idea of fish you like, it would help with ideas since there’s so much you can do.either or, I'm just looking for ideas. Thanks for responding
In that case have you considered natives? Sunfish would be different and definitely have a similar size and energy.Okay I should of been more descriptive of what I'm looking for. I want a large fish I can see swimming around from across the room. I'm paralyzed and in bed most of the time. I have a 125 planted aquarium in front of me so the only place for the 75 is diagonally in front of me. I've had Oscars and flowerhorn. I want something different but comparable to their size and energy level. As always thanks for your advice and comments. Greatly appreciated.
You know my daughter mentioned that but I thought much about it. You think just one or multiple? In that case have you considered natives? Sunfish would be different and definitely have a similar size and energy.
Depends on the type you go with, red breasted sunfish are nice, pumpkin seeds are another nice type, I’d avoid greens or bluegill unless you only want one, then I’d say go for a geeen or bluegill. Check out Jonas aquarium or Sachs aquaculture. They sell various types, there’s also some on eBay: I have a Warmouth and it’s pretty awesome, kinda like a sunfish with an Oscar personalityYou know my daughter mentioned that but I thought much about it.
