Looking for information on a Fish....oponk??

I cannot have the name right or I would have found the information on searches!! The fish grows to about a foot, saw both Albino and spotted, looks like a cross between an arowana and a catfish....weird wide shallow mouth! Any idea what I am talking about??:popcorn:

Thanks! Thats the one! just read they grow to 18"....how do they do with other cats??
 
no problem, as for tankmates, i've only had them for a month now with 2 baby oscars in a 29 and they eat like pigs. before a rearranged things, i had a bumblebee cat in with them and a Mystus vittatus. as long as they get a spot to hide everything will be okay. i'll take some new pics later.

Thanks! The ones I saw today were 6-7" and swimming in the middle of a tank with Birchers...Very nice looking cat....especailly the albino....here they are really good eating to boot...LOL
