Looking for Jags and Mayans...

I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of some juvenile Mayan and Jaguar cichlids in SoCal. More specifically in the Tustin-Santa Ana area. If anyone could help me out that would be great.

Jag cichlids can be found at your local Petsmart. Somewhat hard to believe. The Mayans, i wouldn't know. If you can, ask one of your LFS if they can order them for you.

guess imma have to go to petsmart. Ive as one LFS so far but they wanted too much for a juvi mayan...like 40.

Sometimes Petco's an petsmarts get Mayans an have them listed as red terrors. worth a look you could get lucky.

i dont think california petsmarts carry jags. every district has their list of available animals and its always changing. i know for sure that san diego petsmarts do not carry them as well as central california petsmarts.

Some sound advice from Joeytoe, I see mayans listed as RT's all the time around here. It's a bit of a drag that we're literally thousands of miles apart, cause I'm strongly considering selling my beautiful Mayan 3.5" for $10 right now. I just can't buy another big tank and dedicate it to one beast...a friend may be buying a 6 foot soon...I may just have to dump it in there so that I can have visitation rights

Mayan cichlids are really nice fish, The one I had got killed a while back.

thanks for the help. I tracked down two jags from a petsmart and pretty sure I got a mayan. He was listed as a festae but didn't look like the ones I have so I picked him up.
