Am looking to get some led light bulbs for my (40cm 16 inches) deep planted aquarium for easy to medium light plants!

i was thinking something around 6000k-7000k any suggestions ?

i dont want to get into soldering and complicated wiring.. so need some sort of sand alone light bulbs.light some spot light led or similar .

am really stuck now.. it seems to complicated to choose good cheap leds
any suggestions and some help would be much appreciated

Hard to say without trying them out but they seem like they would do the job for low-medium light plants. Nice thing about your tank is it is shallow at 16 inches so you don't need much to penetrate to the substrate.

I'm using those fixtures on my 125 gallon planted aquarium.
Go with the 20 watt versions. 3 or 4 of them. I have 4 on my 6' tank.

really ? my tank is 60 inches long and 16 deep so its not that deep.. considering when i add the substrate it would be even less.. so i would think that the 10w is ideal for my depth.. i dont want to have excessive light and get algae

anyway are you happy with those lights as far as plant growth ?
also at what kelvins are yours ?

Trust me, the 10 watt will be nowhere near enough. I have one of them as well. Two of them would work great on a 10 gallon, but not much more. I'm not possitive on the Kelvin of mine. The first one I ordered produces a very white light, the other three are more yellow. They were all ordered as 5000K.
The plant growth took awhile to take off, but is doing well now.

10w floodlights. I use 4 of them to light my 500g and I almost think it's too bright
