Wow like the look of them pikes never really got into Crenicichla , may need to buy one or two !
funny as it go's you don't seem to hear of many people owning them in the UK, or many people selling them, my LFS had a breeding pair which they were selling for £60 ($117.40) and i think they were Crenicichla marmorata. can't be certain tho.
i really like the look of them may need to add them with the cichla when i doo my indoor pond eventually......

Thats the best thing I've heard all day!! You'd be surprised how many people in the UK keep them. You guys can get more pikes than we can i think...which is not fair. So you have more options...just gotta look around to find them.
BTW...thats a juv...you can't imagine the adults beauty...its amazing. Heres a picture of an adult female, don't know what the collection area is, but its one of the best lookin lents. i've ever seen. I almost bought her..

Yeah i wasn't aware there were more of them avalible in the uk ! Hmm i may have to look around then ! quite fancey one or two now !
