:popcorn:I normally went to Midwest Pet Supply in Elkhart, Paws and Claws in Warsaw, Age of Aquariums in Goshen. :nilly: I no longer have the aquariums set up that I once did but I still enjoy going with a friend of mine to Noah's Ark in Merrillville or to Pet Haven in Valparaiso. We would also go to Aquascapes in Hobart, although my friend says that they went out of business a couple of months ago. :topic:I live in Northern Indiana but work in Alaska so I am gone for 3 - 4 months at a time. I haven't had time when I have been home to check out Midwest Pet Suppy or Age of Aquariums so they might have gone out of business as well. Plymouth has J & K Aquariums, but they suck (they have maybe 20 tanks with fish). :screwy:Oh, there is a place in Michigan City, I think it is called D&D Pets, they had a large selection of fish but I don't remember if any were what you are looking for (I was buying saltwater fish). What I have learned is that you deal with a Ma and Pa shop for while (don't discuss any other shops you deal with) and most of the time they will help you find what you are looking for (special orders). :duh:There are 2 small shops in Knox that are Ma and Pa type shops the one is mostly Saltwater (Cricket's Sea Critters). The other is called Fairhaven, just opened, but the owner previously had an aquarium shop with both freshwater and saltwater and would go out of his way to find the fish his loyal customers were looking for. I hope this helps you out. And remember, you can always check out Fort Wayne!!!:WHOA::wall:
