Well here in New Jersey the lakes have been iced up for a few weeks now... so that brings me to my question. Where can i acquire some or all of the following species of fish; mud sunfish, banded sunfish, and white sucker. My buddy is bringing me over some little blackbanded sunnies today, but i have to keep them in a grow tank for a while as my crappie might eat them. Any and all info greatly appreciated.

dude-just go fishing.they'll still bite-the ice isnt that thick-take a huge boulder and toss it in the water like 2-3 feet from the edge and start fishing

Try these...

I wouldn't attempt to keep those blackbanded with crappie. Blackbanded sunfish reach about 3", crappie about 20".

thanks for the links. that aquaculture store is great. a little pricey but i prob use them for any that i cant get myself.
