Been trying to find pearsei cichlids for over 2 years with no luck. Anyone know where to find any in the USA or somewhere that's had them in the past. Would greatly appreciate it

They are on the coming soon page at Wetspot tropicals today.
Hope you have at least a 300 gal tank, anything smaller would be inadequate after a year or so, depending on how large they were when first bought.

Oh I have a 430 gallon and if anything I can pop one in my 2000g pond. Where can I see a coming soon list on wet spot tropical fish?

Pearsei have been one of my favorite fish that Ive kept. After losing one to age, I tried my hand at some other cichlids but ended up coming back to a pearsei. Just ended up losing that one to a bacterial infection, so like you M Megamonsters been on the lookout. Got my name on the wait list on WetSpot but the market has been pretty dry…. Seems like back about 15 years ago there was a much larger selection of them with a lot more wild caught and F1 stock, and even some catch location variations but now its all little captive born that remain really bland until quite large.

I was able to get a few from Wetspot about a year and half ago. One survived and he is bow about close to 7 inches and showing beautiful color. I am on their waiting list also.

Where do you view wetspots coming soon page? I can't seem to find it.

you just scroll down on central americans cichlid page, you will find the Cincelichthys pearsei, and bocourti icons, and on their squares it says "Email when in in stock". They are seasonal breeders, so may not be available year round.
