A month after this post Mr. Del has been added to the 75g - after the second round of Maracyn 2 the fish never ballooned back up and the redness around the fins subsided.
Fed the little bugger every couple of days, would do water changes, then fed 2-3 days in a row with water changes, never turned back in to a pinecone.
Hopefully he stays in good health, I'll be keeping a close eye for a while now that he's in the thunderdome with the bigger polys.
