Not sure if this belongs in this thread but I'm looking for a more proper ID for my silver dollar here. Originally bought it as a spotted silver dollar, but knowing how pet stores are, I figured I might as well ask for a proper ID on it. He is currently in with my tiger silver dollar and a handful of juvenile flowerhorns along with my banded tiger botia loach. Flowerhorns are just temporary till I rehome them. Any help with identification would be appreciated

Thanks for the help there. I'm not too experienced when it come to SD's so it always helps having a professional opinion. Also if you don't mind me asking. What tank mates would you suggest for them in a 80? Been kinda stumped on what else I should add in with them once the FH's were gone. I'd hate to just have only the 3 fish in there the entire time.

Could some smaller cichlids, medium sized pikes cichlids, polypterus, rope fish bush fish, oddball knives, medium sized barbs, and medium sized tetras.

I have 2 older Spotted Silver Dollar's in a 180 gallon with adult Polypterus and a med size Datnoid. They shoal with 2 other specie of SD.
Yeah my 2 shoal together. They fought one day one but became best friends afterwards. I think the tiger was just asserting dominance. I had a gorgeous clown knife at one point but sadly had to re-home him because the 2 jack Dempsey's at the time wouldn't quit beating on him. Also had a ornate bichir but rehomed him because he always hid. I wouldn't mind getting some more small Cichlids again tho like salvini, African jewels, apistogrammas, or maybe even some firemouths. I'll attach a pic of the knife I had for anyone that wants to look at it.
