Looking for scrap glass

I am searching for anyone who has scrap glass. The glass thickness needs to be 1/2” thick or thicker.

Or if anyone knows where I could get glass cheap that would be great. Thanks

Dimensions I am looking for is (2) pieces 17 1/4”x10” thickness of 1/2”+


I have looked and called around and can’t find anything for under $50-100.

I can’t help you much but I can offer this suggestion. Search craigslist and such and see if anyone is trying to get rid of tanks or just plain glass. You can break down the tanks then cut them to size if they’re thick enough for you.
I’m notbsure how thick the glass is on 55 gallons but if they’re half an inch thick then you could buy one now during the dollar per gallon sale and break it down and cut the glass to size.
