Imo, you shouldn't buy a fish for the sake of it looking like a shark...

so you're saying he should buy a fish that looks like something he doesn't like?

I see no issue with buying a fish for looks, after all what else is there to do but watch and care for them. if you don't like the looks then what's the point?

only one i can think of is a paroon. they look very shark like, and almost identical from above, to the casual observer. Problem is they can get like 8 feet..
