Grow one out in a 10g you'll get one. The fish will be unhealthy and unhappy though. ...otherwise, there's no such thing.

There's another post advertising it being bumped on here. But yeah, as per the comments above and on that post, it seems more likely it's a physical deformity or example of stunting than a genetic shortbody mutation.

Sure, they're all deformities. The question is whether it's physical or genetic. I'd be more concerned about a fish that was injured/stunted than one with weird genes, although you could have problems with either.
