Looking for some information on Pacman catfish, Lophiosilurus alexandri. Mainly interested in growth rate that others have had with this catfish. Any issues mixing with others species? I realize they are predatory but provided the other fish are big enough not to fit in it's mouth are there other things I would have to worry about. The tankmates it would probably be going in with would be larger growing doradid catfish (oxydoras, megalodoras and pterodoras) as well as gars (florida, longnose, cuban, gator).

I have had 3 of them.
#1 Owned 2 years grew from 9" to 18"
#2 Owned 8 years grew from 15" to 23"
#3 Owned 3 years grew from 4" to 20"
Never kept them in a community set up only in 180's by themselves but with some dither fish to chase/eat like fat head minnows and goldfish that I have bred and carry no diseases.
How big is your pacman? and how long have you owned it?
Don't have one yet, thinking of getting some from Jeff Rapps. He has some 5" captive bred individuals for sale. Want to make sure it would work with my stock bvefore I do anything else.
