We recently got a 40 gallon tank for me to keep my community fish in so that the 75 can become our cichlid tank. In the 75 we have the following fish: 1 firemouth, 1 angel, 2 scissortail rasboras, 1 opaline gourami, 1 pleco. What other cichlids and what sort of dithers should we look to add. I know he wants a jack dempsey, and possibly a green terror.

Jack Dempsey and Green Terrors are larger and tend to be more aggressive, they will not stop picking on smaller fish (especially the angels).

yea..when you get in with some of the ciclids expecially the GT you need to watch it the JD your more fine with...from what ive experianced there a lot more easy going than a gt.

Man with that kind of mix it's hard to say. If you can find them you could easly do some of the more passive American cichlids. Like: Keyhole cichlids, Port cichlids, any of the Microgeo, maybe some of the geo's, or Apistograma's. They are all kinda passive, and I have kept them all with angels befor. I have been seeing more keyhole in the LFS lately, so I would try them first. Good Luck!

Later,
Billy

imo you'd be playing with fire adding either a jd or gt to that tank. I think the species that snakeman mentioned would be much better suited for your setup. :)
