Looking for substrate in NoVa/DC/Md

I have exhausted the resources I can find, and it's killing me. I have some bare bottom tanks while I am in search of just the right stuff. If anyone in the northern Va area can help me, I've been to garden stores, super pets, Vienna aquarium, Leslie's pool supply, rental companies, sandblasters, etc, but I have come up empty. I'm looking the substrate in this thread (JK47's).

I am looking for confirmed sightings. I need a few hundred lbs. of it

I didn't go through the entire thread you linked but on the first page he was using pool filter sand. That should be available at just about any pool supplier / installer. I got mine from Perry Pools in Lynchburg Va.
