im looking for a bushy, thick, and preferably tall plant that spreads like wildfire, doesnt need much co2, and will survive under the 'too high' light category. im also looking for uniquely shaped plants like pennywort if you know any please tell me. also really pretty plants. it doesnt need to be super tall just enough for bottom dwellers to bask under it. preferably with broadened leaves. just no plants with little needle hair leaves. like a sword plant but different. it doesnt have to be broad leaved though slightly narrow leaves would be ok too. if it has big root systems thats a big plus because i have cichlids but not required. id like to not have to supplement root tabs but i do have them if need be. really, really slow growers like anubias wont work because they grow to slow and i already have them and their developing black beard algae. i want something that people say is tough to get rid of. i already have duckweed and it wont grow in my tank. somebody is eating it. take for example how i love pennywort for their unique leaf shape and that the leaves can get HUGE! and my crypts that my catfishes will occasionally bask under. the crypts are too low to the ground though i need a mid-background plant. i have lotus to. you see im really impatient to let my plants settle in and stop melting, i want something that isnt so sensitive to everything like vals and that will overrun my tank in a matter of days. turn it into a jungle foresay. if it doesnt melt uncontrollably thats huge to me as all my stem plants seem to do that.
any ideas?
