Looking for tilapia and a friend.

Hello all,

I am looking to do (actually already started) a project on home tilapia production for consumtion and would like to know if anyone has done, is doing, or would like to do a project like this. I am a poor college student (Joking but it is true) and would like to do the project with some other people. I think it would be a lot of fun and help to reduce the costs. I live in the Chicagoland area but it could work over long distances also (I think). Let me know if anyone is interested.

I am looking for nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) and blue tilapia (Oreochromis aureus). Unfortunetely I cannot pay much for them because I am on a tight budget as are many people but hopefully we can work out something.

I have a friend who will give me mozambique tilapia (Oreochromis mossambicus) but eventually I would like some more to improve the gene pool.

They will be tank raised correct?
If so, I'm not thinking they will taste too well.
