i am looking for a tough pleco for a 55gal tank that house just my dempsey right now. A 5 inch female. Any suggestions? I really like the royal but dont want to risk a fish that pricey if i am not 100 percent it will make it

While it may eventually outgrow a 55 (I imagine it would take awhile), it just might work as a tankmate for your fish (see "suggested tankmates" section"). I believe that MLF vendor snookn21 may have just gotten some in. Keep an eye out for his new list, which will probably be up within the next few days. If you are very interested, shoot him a PM.
