Looking for Unique Freshwater Fish

Hi I am looking to purchase an 100 gallon freshwater tank and I want to put a uniqu fish in to it. I was thinking a snakehead, or clown knife fish, or a gar. If you have any suggestions, tell me. Thanks

Forget the snakehead. Purchasing or possessing a SH in the US is a federal offense. Go with a clown, albino clown, or royal clown knife. A 100 doesn't provide sufficient turning room for any true gar species.

There are many things you can do but a 100 gallon will be a grow out. And a bigger tank will be needed in the near future.

I have a few suggestions....
Get a 125 with sand and alittle driftwood and get a mini marble Motoro ray it could most likely stay in there for life but I would suggest a larger tank in the future. Most monsters need a larger tank in the future. 100 gallon is a great grow out rays are great pets as are gars I also love pbass they all have great personalities and they are great to have. Before you get monsters u need to be ready. You need to figure out what you want and then ask questions. This is an amazing website and everyone has great knowledge. In my opinion a amazon style tanks are amazing
