Looking for WC Crenicichla

Hi All, Ive been in the hobby for years, but have never kept any pikes, other than a few unnamed species ones from local pet stores. Im intrested in setting up a species only 125g. Few questions if anyone out there has any info to share. Where do most of yall get your WC stock? Im assuming Rapps, but if there are other reputable sources, id love to hear about them. And also, with the med sized pikes, is tank height or length more important? Thanks in advance!

rapps or discus origins usually have a good stock. I think width and length are the most important

I get them from my LFS. Most pikes are wild caught.

Forgot to add check snookn on aquabid, he sometimes gets pikes in.
