Do you have a fishroom, or is the humidity all through the house? Honeywell and aprilaire both make good air exchangers, both offer heat exchange which is a big deal it takes the temperature of the air between outside and inside and blends it so you aren't pumping cold or hot air into your house. The best bet if its a fishroom is to run the dehumdifier just in that room and seal it off. The heat the dehumidifier makes keeps the tanks up to temp so your heaters don't run and still removes the humidity. If you run sumps or open wet dry filters make sure you seal them off. That would contribute most of your humidity. Any uncovered tanks or ponds? I don't know your climate but an air exchanger to remove humidity wouldn't work where I live. The humidity starting about now until fall is always above 80% and will get near a 100% often.

my fish room is in the basement but it travels through the whole house. all my tanks are covered good but i cant cover my big sump because of all the pipes coming in and out all over the place... this is prob my biggest problem

ive been running a dehumidifier and it runs 24/7 but only keeps my humidity about 70 :irked:

i just ordered one from jehmco yesterday. they were very helpful and the 1000 model is on sale for $699 if anyone is interested
