hello,
i have a 190ltr / 55 gallon fluvial corner unit which i used to have red belly piranhas in. I'm really interested in getting into keeping a snakehead. but I'm getting confused with all the channa species names. can't someone please advise me on what would be a real nice SH to purchase for my tank. had a chat with my local store today any he said he can get burmese fire & ice in for me (love the colours), they said they are £100 ish. is that a bit steep or about right for a fire & ice?. also what species of channa are the fire & ice? are these ok size wise for my tank or could i get a bigger species of channa? could i get 2? id prefer the biggest, nicest colours i could SH possible.
i am going to upgrade my tank next yr to something a lot bigger so i could swap them over when they outgrow my corner unit etc.
all advise welcomed no matter how small so i can go ahead any look into ordering fish as my tanks cycling at the moment.
soory for the question overload I'm just trying to learn everything i can before i make a decision
cheer guys
ian
