looking to add another filter...

ok so right now my 125 has 2 Ac110 and 2 Eheim ProII 2028. ive been postponing to add another filter to add more bio filtration. i was thinking of making a DIY sump, but my tank evaporates a lot of water so it would be tricky to get an overflow constantly going. second i was thinking of adding another canister filter... most likely an Eheim classic. any suggestions?

why do you think you need more bio?

I have a 125 gal heavily stocked with a 25 Red Hump Geos, a pair of Dempseys and a pair of Elliot Cichlids... decorated with lots of driftwood... filtered by 2x AC 110s...

My ammonia/nitrite are consistently at zero...

if your ammonia and nitrites are reading 0 save your cash. you got way more than enough filtration for your tank.

well thats where my eheim proII come in. they are mainly for bio. iono noticed the tank was a little hazy. i think i should cut down on feedings.

sumps are best for filtration bio wise because they are exposed to oxygen, if you really dont feel it will work i would say something bio wheely so the emporer series? 400 fosho
