Looking to breed green terrors :)

hey guys, new to MFK.

ive had my tank running for about 4 months and really want to breed green terrors.

they have been my favourite cichlid for years and i think they are beautiful fish

does anybody here breed them? any tips?

They are pretty easy as long as you have a male and female. A 55 gallon bare bottom tank with something for them to spawn on and you should have fry in no time.

Bumping water temperature to 82, frequent water changes and live foods triggered spawning for me

Daughters tank spawned at 78 and being fed frozen bloodworms 48 hrs after a 40% wc. These fish breed umder pretty much anything so long as there is a pair .
