Just a thought, because maybe you're or not putting them in the same tank.
Because discus are often slow moving, Plecos can/will attach themselves to discus, and suck on the slime coat, endangering the discus, making them poor tank mates.

I am in the same boat. I have looked at the discus guy his prices seem pretty good, but the somethingsphishy has them for 12 bucks. I would like other people’s in put. Thanks for making the thread.

I'm putting the plecos with my angelfish and red lazer cories and rainbowfish with the discus if that sounds ok :)

I have ordered several discus from them and they were very healthy and I had them for years . I highly recommend them . Just make sure your water peramature is ready for your discus . They like old soft water and I’ve always kept my discus around 90 to 92 degrees.

Yes I am very real. Thread started 11 years ago and comes to a couple years ago. Just wanted to rise an alert.

But please go buy your discus at that place and come back here and prove me wrong.
