Looking to collect cichlids sp. in Costa Rica

I did it years ago…I remember coming through customs and I had a leaking bag and the officer put tape on it n let me through ha..different times

As I look into the options for catching wild caught fish and transporting to Canada, I'm getting more intrigued by Nicaragua. I'll be going up to Nic in a few weeks to check out the scene. It's great to see a variety of people access the San Juan river system by kayak.
