should be readily available at almost any LFS or chain petstore, no reason to go online unless you want something really unusual

Convicts are generally cheap, maybe $2-5/each . . . just remember that the females have the red bellies . . .

most likely, yes . . . breeding pairs of convicts don't show much tolerance for other fish

I've been able to keep two breeding pairs of Cons with 2 oscars, 2 africans and a firemouth with no harm.

tank size makes a big difference . . . the smaller the tank, the greater the likelihood of conflict . . .

definetely no need to find anything advertised as a "breeding pair". They are not real picky they pair up real easy it would just cost you extra money for no benefit.
