Looking to get into Pikes

I want to get into keeping some Pike Cichlids, preferrably something that maybe maxes out at 8-10", was wondering what u guys think anything that maxes +/- 2 of the 8-10" mark would be good too
 
The saxitalis group pike would be perfect. Sveni and bellycrawler are the two most commonly available and are great little pikes.
 
i have to suggest the belly crawler for your first pike to see how you like pikes. Pikes are an addiction. I myself have a venny but wanna buy a lent for their awesome beauty but pikes are aggressive and can take down some of the most aggressive cichlids
