they dont need any different care to any other pseudacanthicus sp. there are a few differences in colour, gold, yellow, orange etc. they need a retreat like other plecs, (and are more than happy with bogwood) but are not a particularly shy plec. bloodworms are eagerly accepted foods, along with prawns to go with their carnivore diet (although they will happily graze on veg, and should to provide balance). i wouldnt keep them with fin nippers just because they have such awesome caudal extensions. can sex at about 4". you cant really overfeed them, they eat a lot, all the time. size wise you got it about right TL. great plecs. some would argue the best looking pseudos
