lookng for a surface skimmer

I have just acquired an Aquatop CF-500 filter and was wondering if anyone knows of a good surface skimmer that can be attached to this filter. I wrote to trueaqua (the people I bought the filter from.) and they had no idea of where I could get one. So I have come to you for help. I have seen some on older youtube videos of this brand of filter but no info was provided. Thanks for any help or advice.
Please note that I am working in the freshwater media for the moment till I get enough experience behind me to attempt a saltwater reef tank. (My ultimate goal at this time.)

I know next to nothing about surface skimmers. Why do you want one for a fresh water tank without a sump? And why would you want it to run on the canister filter? Isn't it ultimately better to get water from near the bottom of the tank if flooding isn't a concern? I'm honestly just asking, not trying to tear down the idea or be a dick.

If the tubing doesn't quite match up you can always go to a home improvement store to pick up a change over.

I'm sure there's other third party suppliers as well.

Eheim and fluval both make surface skimmers.
