Hey guys i need your help.

I have these really small shrimp looking things in my gravel. I dont know what they are but they have been in my gravel for a long time. When i vacuum the gravel i see them in there. Anybody have any idea what they could be or should i worry about them. Sorry i havent got a pic there small though.

thanks for the help in advance.

do you have any shrimp in there.

no i do not have any shrimp. I dont know what else to describe them as. This is my fresh water tank.

size , colour , how many legs ect

then we can help you but if they have been there a while and have caused no problems it seems fine

there are grey color. the size of them vary but the biggest ive seen is 1/4 of an inch long. most are shorter. They have a lot of legs not exactly sure. havent taking a really good look at the legs. They swim almost like a cray fish.

did you put anything from a pond in there ? i see something that sounds the same in a wee no tech no filter planted tank

no i did not put anything in from a pond in it. I will try to get some picks though. I will try to get picks though. i have had crayfish in there before but they dont look like crayfish.

They can crawl all over the place. there on the side of my tank in the filter box also now. they look like they have a hard shell on them. and two little antenas. seem like there something iam not suppose to have.
