i found a loose mushroom in one of the tanks at my work (petco) the colony had grown into the current of the return and i guess this one couldnt hold on. i took it home and put it on a rock with some netting around it... its only been a few hours but it seems to have attatched already. i have only ever attatched mushrooms after slicing and dicing, in which case i leave them in the net for like 2 weeks. im wondering if it is an intact mushroom will it attatch quicker?

Well it is possible, especially if you have good water parameter's and a good conditioned tank. Can't beat a fast attach.
