Loosing scales at incredible rate! Help!!!

Lemon Fin Barb (I love these fish!) Just got 4 of them from LFS 8 days ago.
2 of them were missing a couple scales, didn't think much except that they would come back.
By the 8th day 2 of them look terrible!
So far, 3 days of Melafix and Pimafix and Aquarium salt (1 tsp./5 gal.)
Great Filteration & Airation.
Temp. 80 F
Any suggestions!!!
I can't loose these fish!

yes, baby hybrid cichlids,
but these guys are really fast.

That's what I was going to say but you beat me to it. You still might want to treat the tank with something to prevent infection. The Doctor.

I had to put one of them down.
He looked really bad and wasn't eating.
Now I'm down to 3 and noticed that one of them has a pectoral fin missing.
Don't think that's going to grow back.
