Its not a big deal but im just wondering if anyone else loses a lot of water due to evaporation? I lose about 3 inches every week of water in my 29g. My tank is in my basement and therefore the air is very dry. I just refill it everyweek and according to water changes........this happen to anyone else?

i have a 10 a 125 and a 29 and the 29 seems to loose the most water due to evap it might just be cuz of the surface area being relatively large for a small tank

wow...........i totally messed up that title. long day, i have no clue why i wrote filtration? but anyway LOSING WATER TO EVAPORATION...lol

i lose about an inch by the end of the week.

Do you have a top on the tank??????

yes but there is a little opening along the back where the filters are

3" in a week, I'd be looking for a leak, checking if the floor is wet.

I maybe loose a half inch at most in a week on my least sealed up tank.
