Loss my two wonderful gulpers

An early northeaster in New Hampshire cause an power outage and temperature in my tank fell below 60 for two straight days spell doom for my two gulper catfish Hannibal and Loki. I purchase them in May and they where only three inches and they where very healthy seven inches at the time of their passing

dude that stinks. next time wrap the tanks up in blankets or get a mini generator to run them as a back up

I hoping once the storm mess is over and things settle down to get some kind of back up generator to run at least furnace and filters to maintain my fishes. Not sure if I'm getting another gulpers though

yea, when you live where that stuff happens often you have to have some sort of back up.
even if its just to run heaters and an air pump. you can use a low watt heater and blankets to insulate the tank to keep the fish alive.
