Recently one of my orino's no longer wanted to eat pellets. I've thrown in krill, chopped silversides, and shrimp. He'll only eat about 3 feeder tilapias and thats it. Anyone out there know of how I can get my orino back into eating more? I've heard that garlic powder can help restore appetite, any insight into that?

They naturally want to eat live food so when you give em a taste there going to fight ya over it. But he's right starve him out for a while. Then just keep offering. He'll come around it could take good week and a half but don't worry if foods there it will not starve itself. Promise.

i dont think its a matter of 'restoring the appetite' (by using garlic). like the tankmasta says, it's probably more so his preference that changed

thanks for the input guys. I only used the feeder tilapia as a last resort to get him to eat, but it was odd that he only ate three (feeders are less than .5") and left the other 40.
