Lost 1 baby cichla today

I lost one of my four baby cichla today He wasnt eating at all since i got him friday, the other three seem fine and have been eating good. Water parameters are good, temp is at 86. Dont know why i lost him. I havent lost a fish in the past 3 years. First time keeping cichlas though.

Only about 2"

I know how u feel man I lost couple my self cichla are not easy when young but it'll be worth it once they are over 6" it gets easier

They are fragile at that size. Good luck with the other 3. What are they eating?

They are only eating feeders now. I tryed some massivore pellets that I broke into 3 pieces and the dont touch them. Tried blackworms I dont think they r eating them either I think they r just ending up in the gravel. They reallt dont go after the feeders while I'm there but if I leave the room they r all gone. Just got to get them settled in I guess. I had 2 tems and 2 ocells not sure wich I lost I think it was an ocell they all look the same right now

Sorry for your lost! Some things you can do to help out your other guys are Keeping temps high 85 and getting them off live as their staple food as soon as you can. Don't forget to spend time at your tank so your fish will get to know you.
