My temensis were so tiny that I have been housing them in one of my girlfriends dwarf cichlid tanks temporarily until they are big enough to mix w/ other small cichlids in a bigger grow out tank. My girl like to be the one to feed our fish frozen brine and blood worms. She has a gorgeous Crenicichla regani dwarf pike in that tank too which hangs w/ bass for now. Unfortunately when she closed the lid there has a tiny less than 1/2 inch crack left open and 1 of my Temensis managed to JUMP out of it. I have lost some baby bass to the smallest crack s over the years let me tell you.
Temensis wasn't the most expensive or rarest, but it definitely took me the longest to get. Cest la vie....
