I woke up to find that one of my little 1.5" Cichla had die. I had 4 and 3 were nice and healthy but the other was very thin, i had been feeding him bloodworms and other meaty foods over the last week and he didn't put any weight on and the tank had just gotten over ich, so i think that teh Ich was just too mcuh for him. But at least the others are now healthy.

That sucks man. It may have had nothing to do with it, but your baby pbass can be nourished very easily with guppies. When my azuls and orinos were tiny I didn't often deed them guppies, but I am sure they would have grown more quickly if I had. It's grea that they're eating non-live, but it's soooo much easier with guppies!!

how did u get them onto bloodworms?
when you get them so small bloodworm and the like are the norm for them,if you think about it there's notthat much around in the way of live food for a one inch fish, but bloodworm ,krill

Live black worms.

that sucks bro.... for dealing wit ich i use coppersafe... you dont even have to use too much... cuz its a strong chemical... clears ich fast... but besides that another way is to just feed them live guppies or white clouds excessively until they bounce back naturally:naughty::naughty: ... they eventually will recover by just eating alot..... sorry for your loss!!!!
