lost a cichlid this morning

so last night when i fell asleep all my fish were getting along just fine.its a 55 with 14" ornate 2-7" sen and 6 cichlids 3 red zebras 2 yellows a one blue. well this morning when i whent to feed i saw that one of my reds didnt come up to eat. after serching for him i fuond him under one of there rocks he looked chewd on. it would seem to look like it was the ornate but he would have just ate him. who could have done this? please let me know what fish could have done this because he will be food for my flower horn. lol not realy i just want to watch him.

unless you seen the deadly deed happen then you can only guess as to whether it was natural or a murder.
it sucks a lot when a fish dies. fish are funny critters, ok when its lights out and dead by sunrise with no apparent signs of anything bad. sucks but it happens.

yea it was all ok befor bed then he was dead i think it was fish murder. i checked all my levels and it was all good.

the water perameters dont mean that it wasnt natural. for as hard as it is to believe sometimes they just die for no apparent reason. unless you see another murder you will never know.
