Well got up this morning and one of my pair of baby blacks was dead. I had just sold on last week so now I'm down to just the two.

Not sure why it died, didn't test water params so don't ask. It ate alot last night but I can't believe this would be the cause. I started feeding cut market shrimp recently and this guy had three pieces, stealing pieces that were intend for the other aro. He was stuffed to the point that he carried the third piece around without fully swallowing it. Maybe I should have taken it away from him IDK, any thoughts?

That sux. How big was he?? My 9" black has been stealing a lot of market shrimp meant for my ray recently. Thanks for posting this, now I know I should probably make sure he doesn't get too much.

Have you seen this happen before? I didn't even consider that it was possible.

He was about 6-7" long.

Don't you need lungs to choke?
